Hello, my name is Lynn and I am a qualified psychotherapist and psychologist with memberships of the Irish Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (IACP) and the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI). I practice in person in Naas and online around the world.
Empathy, authenticity, and a non-judgmental approach form the foundation of my practice, and I continually strive to create a space where individuals feel seen and supported as their full selves. I believe that it takes a lot of courage to come to therapy and that every client who comes to counselling deserves a safe and confidential place to heal. Our work together will be collaborative, with your feedback playing a pivotal role in the sessions. I’m here to support and guide you, but ultimately, you are the one in control of your own journey.

Background
During my time on planet earth, I have worked in the areas of domestic violence, supported housing, youth mental health, disability, eating disorders, and patient advocacy. As such, I have helped people struggling with a wide variety of issues. In a previous life I was also a digital journalist, and I have lived abroad for various periods, which has given me a different perspective on things.
I believe that there is no one-size-fits-all therapy and that different things suit different people. So I pull from a wide variety of therapeutic tools in my work, including CBT, psychodynamic therapy, self-care evaluations, nervous system regulation strategies, and personality assessments. These practices support clients to navigate challenges both during and post therapy.
Outside of my work, I am a crazy cat lady who enjoys walking, reading, listening to podcasts, learning new things, and spending time with friends and family. Spirituality is also an important part of my life.
